They call for the setting up of an expert consultancy service and an international cooperation framework on the area. Deputy Director General of Vietnam’s Anti-crime Department, General Do Kim Tuyen: “Drug related crimes are on upward trend and narcotic drug trafficking has been detected in many provinces nationwide. A large volume has been transported from neighboring countries with the involvement of Vietnamese, Thai and Filipino women who were hired to carry the drug from African countries. The workshop is an excellent opportunity to increase the efficiency of anti-drug related crimes.”
