(VOVworld) –Vietnam Stamp Exhibit 2015 (Vietstampex 2015) opened in Hanoi on Friday with more than 500 postage stamp collections on display. Jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Viet Nam Post and other organizations, the exhibit showcases 139 collectors’ postage stamps, which depict Vietnamese culture and traditions. Many stamps and postcards on display date back to the 1880s and 90s.
Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Bac Son spoke at the opening ceremony: “This is Vietnam’s largest stamp exhibit yet. Many of the stamps on display feature the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh.”
