Kim Sang-sik, a former coach of the Republic of Korea’s multi-time champions Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, will take on the head-coach position of those teams from May 2024 to March 2026.
Kim was a defensive midfielder for the RoK’s national team.
After switching to coaching, he helped Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors win the Korean Championship (K-League) 2021 and the Korean National Cup 2022. He was voted manager of the month twice in 2022; K League 1 manager of the year in 2021; Korean FA Coach of the Year in 2021, and Korean FA Cup Best Manager in 2022.
