(VOVworld) – A delegation of Vietnamese health officials led by Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien visited New Zealand on Thursday and Friday to discuss measures for the implementation of cooperation contents agreed earlier by the two countries’ Prime Ministers. The visit is part of activities to mark the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-New Zealand’s diplomatic ties, and to implement the two government’s cooperative partnership with a focus on healthcare and food safety. Minister Tien had a working session with New Zealand’s Associate Minister of Health Peseta Sam Lotu-liga. The two leaders agreed to discuss and sign a Memorandum of Understanding on health cooperation during New Zealand’s Prime Minister’s visit to Vietnam, scheduled for this November.
