(VOVworld) – A seminar was held in Hanoi on Saturday to encourage Vietnamese businesses to be involved in humanitarian and charity programs. The forum was where the businesses discussed the difficulties, barriers and ways to increase the effectiveness of their humanitarian activities. Nguyen Quang Dong, Director of the AG INVESTMENT & TECHNOLOGY GROUP, said: “We have a humanitarian strategy with diverse activities such as donating our own products or sponsoring other organizations. Direct humanitarian activities could help save patients while indirect assistance could help students or businesses raise their effectiveness. Many businesses are ready to join charity programs and they should be connected.”
