The team – Luong Thi Thao, Ho Thi Ly, Ta Thanh Huyen, and Pham Thi Thao, displayed an excellent performance during the women’s lightweight quadruple sculls event. The achievement has lifted Vietnam into 13th place in the medal tally out of 24 countries. Earlier that day, wushu artist Bui Truong Giang won a silver medal for his performance in the men's sanda 56 kg.
