Ho Chi Minh city continued to record the highest number of cases (1,773), followed by Can Tho city (954), Binh Duong (716), and Ba Ria-Vung Tau (697).

Hanoi detected 310 new cases. 

Saturday’s infections brought the country’s caseload to 1,197,404.

956,924 patients have recovered and 24,692 have died. 

By Friday, Vietnam had administered 117,691,092 doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
