(VOVworld) - Vietnam will send trainees to Japan’s Ibaraki prefecture to join agricultural courses in the near future.

An agreement on cooperation was signed between representatives from the Overseas Labour Management Department under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) and Ibaraki’s Agriculture Association at a ceremony held on May 15. This is the first time Vietnam has worked with the Japanese province in developing human resources in agriculture, a move which is expected to help improve the quality of Vietnam’s workforce, thus promoting socio-economic development for both sides, as well as cultural exchange and mutual understanding between their people.
