(VOVworld) – A seminar on UNESCO’s international conventions opened in Hanoi on Friday. UNESCO Chief Representative in Vietnam Katherine Muller said Vietnam has many UNESCO-recognized items of intangible and tangible heritage. She praised Vietnam’s efforts in heritage preservation and said that Vietnam and other nations should balance growth and preservation. The seminar was aimed at updating journalists about UNESCO’s heritage-related international conventions.
