Addressing a forum themed “Making green growth work: Perspectives from Vietnam and Switzerland” held in Hanoi on Wednesday, Minister Dung appreciated the Swiss government for giving priority to supporting Vietnam’s private sector, promoting the efficient use of resources, and helping the Vietnamese Government and private enterprises realize the “clean production” concept in Vietnam. He said this is one of the most important tasks of Vietnam’s green growth strategy. “On the basis of political, diplomatic, and economic relations between Vietnam and Switzerland, I believe that our cooperation in green growth has huge potential. This is an opportunity for both sides to share experience and solutions in this field. We hope that more Vietnamese and Swiss enterprises will invest in green growth projects in Vietnam.”
Doris Leuthard, Head of the Department of Environment, Transport, Energy, and Communication said Switzerland will work with Vietnam on shared challenges for a greener Vietnam and a greener world.
