Passengers and aircrew strictly abided by procedures on COVID-19 prevention and control. After landing, passengers continued to receive tests in Vietnam.

Vietnam Airlines and functional agencies at home and abroad are building and piloting the “vaccine passport” and plans to re-open international air routes to meet the travel demand and contribute to  national economic and tourism development.

According to Vietnam Airlines, it has approved a plan to launch regular direct flights to the US to serve the repatriation needs of the Vietnamese community, saying this is the appropriate time to do it.
