VFF to receive financial support from FIFA during COVID-19 epidemic

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) may receive a bailout package of 2.7 million USD from the World Football Association (FIFA) to address problems caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, FIFA President Gianni Infantino said in a recent announcement.

VFF representatives said FIFA will send a team to survey and assess the damage for each country before announcing a final figure. The money will be transferred in the second half of this year.
