The Chief of the IOM Mission in Belarus said that they had met with partners and considered various medium-term measures to deal with the situation. Some migrants plan to apply for asylum while some want to return home. The Chief of the IOM Mission also called on other countries to join hands in solving the problem.
The UNHCR representative in Belarus expressed concerns that the refugees in the temporary shelter in Bruzgi lack necessary items and promised to tackle the pending issues.
