The 2-week meeting concluded after about 48 hours of overtime negotiations with only an acknowledgement of the urgent need to reduce new carbon to keep temperature rise under 2°C.
Big countries like the US, Brazil, China, Australia, Saudi Arabia incurred a lot of criticism for their reluctance to take steps to reduce global warming.
The core issues are funding the fight against climate change and managing carbon markets. There is still no significant progress in helping countries suffering from extreme weather as a result of climate change.
