A Syrian military spokesperson said Damascus and its countryside are empty of "terror groups" after the elimination of IS from Al-Hajar al-Aswad and Yarmouk Camp south of Damascus. This is the first time in 7 years that the Syrian government can assure safety in Damascus and its neighborhoods.
