Red Star award presented to outstanding young entrepreneurs

(VOVworld) – A ceremony to present the Red Star award to the 100 most outstanding young entrepreneurs in 2014 was held in Hanoi on Saturday. The awardees generated 16 billion USD last year, contributed 2 billion USD to the state budget, and created jobs for 119,000 people. In his address, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh said: “The government will continue to remove obstacles for business production. I believe that the awardees will continue to be pioneers in Vietnam’s socio-economic development.”

The Red Star award was established in 1999 and has honored nearly 300 young entrepreneurs ever since.
