The Prime Minister emphasized that the Conference is an opportunity to review urbanization and urban development in Vietnam and define strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges and agree on solutions to a stronger and more sustainable urban development in the country. It will raise awareness about the position, role, potential and challenges of urban areas in the cause of national construction and development.

It’s necessary to improve the quality and quantity of the urbanization process and bring into play the comparative and competitive advantages of the urban areas amid national, regional and global development, said the PM.
