According to the President, grassroots healthcare plays an important role in Vietnam's health system, which has more than 11,400 health stations in communes, wards and towns. This health network is closest to the people to protect people's health.

President Thuong encouraged doctors, nurses, and medical staff and called on them to make greater efforts to improve their qualifications and to always keep their high sense of responsibility. The President requested that authorities and relevant agencies of Ha Nam province to invest more in grassroots healthcare and focus on developing human resources, thereby improving the quality of medical examination and treatment.
He urged for continued investment in facilities and equipment, and build smart, friendly, green, and clean hospitals. Doctors and nurses continue to research and find ways to treat new diseases, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, President Thuong said.
