(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang met with a number of Caodaist dignitaries on Tuesday. He said that Caodaism has proven to be a Vietnamese religion and a part of Vietnamese culture, contributing significantly to national defense.

He said he believed the more than 2.5 million followers of Caodaism would uphold patriotism and fight subversive schemes to distort state policies and sabotage national unity. The Caodaist dignitaries thanked the Party and state for facilitatng religious practices and pledged to contribute more to national construction and defense.
