The photos, taken by the school’s scholars and photographers, are divided into 4 themes: archeology, the construction of museums, life in Vietnam in early the 20th century, and the Nam Giao ritual ceremony. Nguyen Van Cuong, director of the National Museum of History, said: "Photos on display reveal Vietnam’s rich culture and historic traditions that date back to the prehistoric period. The exhibition features pictures, artifacts, and research by the school’s experts on daily life in Vietnam over the past 100 years. The exhibition, which opened on Wednesday, will run until next March."
