Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong is conferred the Lenin Prize by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Russia at a ceremony in Hanoi, on December 15, 2021.

Party leader Trong expressed his emotion and thanked the Communist Party of Russia for awarding the noble prize named after Lenin, saying he considers the award not only a recognition of an individual but also the respect and affection of the Communist Party, the country and people of Russia for the Party, State and people of Vietnam.

He affirmed that the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Communist Party of Russia and their Russian partners continue to consolidate and strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and friendly relations between the peoples of the two countries.

Earlier, Party General Secretary Trong received a delegation of the Communist Party of Russia.
