(VOVworld)- 49 outstanding enterprises for laborers were honored at a ceremony in Hanoi on Sunday. The event was organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Labor Newspaper.

These enterprises were selected among 1,000 enterprises nominated for the award. Organized for the second year, the program aims to honor enterprises that have improved the working environment, developed good relationship with their employees and contributed to society.  In his address, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Minh Huan said: “We hope that the Vietnamese community will pay more attention to the interests of laborers because they are the one who create profits for enterprises and contribute to national development. Enterprises share their benefits to help improve the living conditions of the workers. We work together to develop a harmonious and stable labor relationship”.
