The 6.8-magnitude quake, the strongest ever recorded in Morocco, destroyed entire villages in the Atlas Mountains.
More than 2,000 people are believed dead and thousands of others were left injured after the quake rocked an area approximately 72 km southwest of Marrakesh.
Morocco's rescue forces are racing against time to find victims still trapped in the rubble.
