South Korean military officials are currently analyzing technical parameters such as the range, altitude, and speed of these missiles. South Korea's presidential office immediately convened a meeting of the National Security Council to discuss the launch.
Japanese media quoted Japanese officials on Wednesday as saying the weapons, which appeared to be missiles launched by Pyongyang, fell into the sea outside Japan's Exclusive Economic Zone.
