(VOVworld) – The National Assembly’s deputies on Tuesday continued to discuss the revised laws on Electricity, Advertising, and the revised Ordinance on preferential treatment for those who made a great contribution to the revolution. Most of the delegates agreed on increasing healthcare insurance for the relatives of these people. Truong Thi Mai, Chairwoman of the National Assembly’s Committee for Social Affairs says 'The expansion of our policies for the relatives of every person who rendered a great service to the nation should be taken into consideration more as there is not a policy on granting healthcare insurance to those who took part in the wars of resistance. This includes people who helped the revolution and received certificates of merit from the Prime Minister, senior officials, and the Chairs of provincial People’s Committees. The National Assembly’s Committee for Social Affairs recommends that the Government studies the situation and makes an estimate on numbers of these people, to balance the state budget while implementing the law'.
