The project, which celebrated its fifth anniversary in Hanoi on Sunday, has established the Sống Foundation to support safe house construction and sustainable economic development. The project also launched the Green Happiness Program last month to increase the density of urban trees in Hanoi and coastal trees in Quang Nam province.

The project has raised 1.2 million USD from donors nationwide since its inception. At its fifth anniversary ceremony, the project raised another 65,000 USD by auctioning artworks, enough to build 36 more houses.
