President Trump tweeted earlier that Mexico was doing "nothing" to stop the flow of migrants across its border and the US will be closing all or large sections of the border next week. He threatened that the shutdown will last for months.
Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said on Thursday that tackling illegal immigration is a problem chiefly for the US and the Central American countries. He added that Mexico respects President Trump’s position and is going to help.
