The Iraqi news agency quoted Saeed Mamouzini, an official of the Kurdish Democratic Party, on Tuesday as saying that the abduction took place a few days ago and that the children were aged from 11 to 15 years. They were sent to special terrorist training camps. Abdulkarim Fares, Iraq’s Deputy Minister of Justice, was also kidnapped in Bunoug District, a Shiite Muslim neighbourhood in eastern Baghdad. A spokesperson for the Iraqi Justice Ministry said that authorities had conducted an investigation into the case.
