Mr Kenny said on Sunday that the Brexit can affect trade exchange between Ireland and England, let alone the possible reset of customs and border barriers between Ireland and the North Ireland of England. Prime Minister Kenny is the third world leader to call for the UK’s staying in the EU, following US President Barack Obama and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Ireland will continue its campaign this week, when Irish Foreign Minister Charlie Flanagan visits the Irish community in Liverpool and Manchester city.

Earlier, 30 Irish ideologists, businessmen, and communicators working in England signed in a letter to “The Guardian” newspaper urging Irish voters to vote for the UK’s staying in the EU.
