Receiving Strier and the NVIDIA delegation on Friday, Mr. Mai said that Ho Chi Minh City aims to not only apply AI technology but also become a center of AI development.
He said that the city has assigned local departments and sectors to work on applying AI, initially in administrative management, health care, education, urban development and other areas.
Mr. Strier hailed Ho Chi Minh City’s preparations for AI development, affirming that NVIDIA is willing to join the city to promote the technology.
The executive noted that the firm wishes to cooperate with Ho Chi Minh City, adding that NVIDIA’s shareholders are attentive to Vietnam’s market.
He said that NVIDIA will support the development of local businesses and hopes that Ho Chi Minh City will become one of the top five global cities in developing AI.
