The province has 220 hectares where lychees are being grown to international standards so they can be exported to demanding markets like Japan, the US, Australia, and the EU.
Hai Duong has 64 lychee growing zones and 120 packaging facilities certified to export to China. In total, Hai Duong province has 9,700 hectares of lychee and expects to output 45,000 tons this year.
