Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Sunday pointed out the Government’s targets as he addressed a conference in Lam Dong province to launch the Government’s implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution on orientations for socio-economic development, national defense and security in the Central Highlands by 2030 with a vision to 2045.

Analyzing the region's potential strengths, outstanding opportunities, competitive advantages and limitations, Prime Minister Chinh said:"Self-reliance is a must to rise from our labor and wisdom, from our own pieces of sky and land. It’s imperative to take internal resources as the basis of a long-term and decisive strategy; external resources are important and breakthrough; putting people and businesses at the center and considering them the goal, the driving force and the resource for development."

"It is necessary to have a global, comprehensive and all-people approach to deal with global challenges. We must adopt a comprehensive but sustainable breakthrough, narrow the gap between rich and poor, ensure social security and leave no one behind. We must actively innovate technology and diversify products, markets, and supply chains, then we can be able to develop," he added.

Before the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and other delegates visited a photo exhibition themed "Green Central Highlands - Harmony and Sustainability".
