Four Vietnamese billionaires make 2020 Forbes list

(VOVWORLD) - Four Vietnamese entrepreneurs have made the Forbes magazine list of the world’s richest people in 2020.

The four are: Pham Nhat Vuong, Chairman of the private conglomerate Vingroup (rank: 286); Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, CEO of the budget air carrier Vietjet Air (rank: 1,001); Tran Ba Duong, Chairman of the Truong Hai Auto Corporation (Thaco) (rank: 1,415); and Ho Hung Anh, Chairman of Techcombank (rank: 1,990).

Jeff Bezos, the multi-billionaire founder of Amazon, maintained his top spot in this year’s rankings.

Three other Vietnamese businesspeople have been honored in Forbes magazine’s annual “30 Under 30 Asia” list. The three are: Nghiem Xuan Huy, founder and CEO of the startup Finhay; Han Ngoc Tuan Linh, founder and CEO of Vietnam Silicon Valley Capital; and businesswoman Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huyen of Medlink Asia.
