According to Tilo Nadler, German wildlife conservation expert and a member of the primate reintegration group of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN), this is is a good sign, greatly contributing to the conservation of biodiversity in Trang An eco-tourism complex, creating a foundation for restoring and establishing a new population of the endemic primates in Trang An. Delacour langur has been listed by the IUCN as critically endangered species.

Scientifically known as Trachypithecus delacouri, Delacour langur is a primate endemic to Vietnam. It has been listed in the Red Book of Vietnam and the world and classified as critically endangered.
