The event was jointly organized by the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV), the Foundation for East Sea Studies (FESS) and the Vietnam Lawyers’ Association. East Sea issues require a shared political view, trust, and solutions based on international law, DAV Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Tung said. Tung called for calm and a creative approach to boosting cooperation and ensuring regional peace and stability: "The issues are not new and depend on political views and trust. When countries have common political views and trust each others, their cooperation is realized through joint projects, which will, in turn, strengthen their political views and mutual trust and keep the situation under control."
