The Dien Bien National Tourism Year 2024 will take place with an opening ceremony and a series of events including the Hoa Ban (Bauhinia) Festival 2024, trade promotion activities, boat racing in Muong Lay town, the Cherry Blossom Festival, and the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7).
Mr. Le Thanh Do, Chairman of Dien Bien province’s People’s Committee, said this is an opportunity to promote Dien Bien province’s people, land and unique tourism products to domestic and foreign visitors.
“The province hopes to welcome 1.3 million tourists during this National Tourism Year,” he said.
