(VOVworld) - Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos announced a reshuffle of his cabinet on Monday. He said that Colombia needs a good government for post-war reconstruction. Santos called for more efforts to strengthen the economy and reduce poverty and inequality.

New appointments are Jorge Londono as Justice Minister, Clara Lopez as Labor Minister, Maria Lacouture as Commerce Minister. Santos also named Elsa Rojas as Minister of Housing and Public Utilities, Jorge Rojas as Transport Minister and German Arce as the Minister of Mines and Energy.

Columbia’s Green Party and Alternative Democratic Pole Party declined to join a coalition government with the Social Party of National Unity.
