China maintains that economic cooperation between China and the US is win-win in nature. China and the US are each other’s top trading partner and represent “one of the world’s most important bilateral relationships.” He said trade disagreements can be resolved if the two sides work together.

The statement came as tension in the US-China trade war eased following a US’s postponement of new US tariffs on Chinese goods.
