Can Tho city boosts Mekong Delta’s tourism potential

(VOVWORLD) - Authorities of Can Tho city had a working session with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) on Monday to discuss a study on adapting tourism in the Mekong Delta to climate change. 

BCG Director Marcin Miller said Can Tho's right strategy could attract 20 million overnight visitors, one-third of them foreigners, raising tourism revenue to 4 billion USD by 2030.

Chairman of the Can Tho People’s Committee Vo Thanh Thong said Can Tho needs to improve its tourism and transportation infrastructure and make its tourism strategy a major part of its socio-economic development.
