Government spokesman Phay Siphan said Um Sam An had created a fake border map and used it as an incitement to overthrow the government. Another CNRP lawmaker, Hong Sok Hour, is in prison awaiting trial. He is accused of posting a fake government pledge on Facebook to dissolve Cambodia's border with Vietnam. In September 2015, Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Sen said he would take tough measures against individuals and organizations who incite political instability and create misunderstandings over border sovereignty.
