She also presented 20,000 USD to help build charity houses for local poor households. Hoang Thi Eng, a beneficiary, said “I’m happy to receive this assistance from the State. We’ll enjoy a happy Tet this year.”

The Fatherland Front of Quang Binh province has presented New Year gifts and provide free meals to poor patients and other disadvantaged people. Mr. Ho An Phong, Vice Chairman of Quang Binh province’s People’s Committee, said: “Each poor household or policy beneficiary receive about 40 USD. Every year we provide rice and give gifts to poor people so they can enjoy a happy Tet.”

The Central Highland province of Dak Lak has presented Tet gifts to nearly 150,000 outstanding individuals and collectives, policy beneficiaries, and revolutionary contributors.
