Themed “The Role of Young People in Promoting the Realization of Sustainable Development Goals via Digital Transformation and Innovation”, this year’s conference will be the largest conference ever, attracting some 500 delegates including 300 international guests.
The preparation and organization have prompted great attention from the Party and State toward the younger generation and their role in national development, in building a peaceful and prosperous world, and in resolving global challenges.
The National Assembly of Vietnam has made careful preparations for the event in which Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue has put forth many initiatives to introduce Vietnam, its people and innovation.
The conference will demonstrate the role and strengths of Vietnamese youth organizations and promote Vietnam's youth movement to international friends.
Secretary General and Chairman of the National Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong says, “A declaration on the role of youth in realizing sustainable development goals through digital transformation and innovation will be adopted, the first such declaration ever by the conference, showing the determination of young parliamentarians around the world to join hands in implementing the UN SDGs.”
The Global Young Parliamentarians Conference will have its own logo, which can be used again for future meetings.
