The conference, part of the Vietnam Innovation Initiative (InnovateVN) initiated by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, offered an opportunity to share experience and connect the military business community with the world's most innovative and technologically advanced enterprises, and opened prospects of cooperation to update innovation trends and make full use of Vietnam’s advantages.

Major General Tran Dinh Thang, Director of the Economic Department of the Defense Ministry and Head of the Association of Military Enterprises, said that over the past time the agency has connected domestic and foreign military enterprises to do trade and transfer technology.
“Many trade exhibitions have been held, particularly exhibitions on cyberspace in the digital era. We have cyber offices to introduce our products and encourage other enterprises to connect with us, but these activities are still limited,” said Thang.
As the result, according to Thang, “Such conferences will encourage military businesses to adopt the technology platforms of Industry 4.0. Military enterprises operate in diverse industries, and we need to step up in all of them.”
Cooperation agreements between the National Innovation Center, the Association of Military Enterprises, and the General Department of Defense Industry were signed at the conference.
