Under the province’s development plan until 2030 and vision to 2050, the province will further promote its marine economy and tourism.

By 2030 Khanh Hoa aims to become a centrally-managed city and an international sea tourism and service center.

The Van Phong Economic Zone and Cam Lam urban district will be developed as a driving force for the development of the south-central region. Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoang, Head of the Van Phong Economic Zone’s Managing Board, said the province will conduct zoning industrial, urban, and tourism sections and develop 5 new industrial parks.
