Delegates agreed that the government has issued specific policies on socioeconomic development and defense for each region, contributing to security and defense. They vowed to better fulfill their tasks, timely detect emerging problems in localities, and upgrade the infrastructure in border areas. They also proposed policies to support socioeconomic development and poverty reduction for people living in these areas. Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh spoke at the event: "All the committees are asked to do their best to fulfil the tasks of boosting socio-economic development and ensuring national defense in their region, contributing to the success of the National Party Congress’s resolution. It’s necessary to strengthen coordination among committees while staying up-to-date on border situations and external security issues to request solutions from the Party Central Committee. Another important task is to enhance production and ensure local people’s living conditions."
