Ross said he hopes the Vietnamese Government would continue to make it easy for US businesses to expand investment and trade cooperation with Vietnamese partners for the sake of both nations.

Minister Anh said Vietnam works to improve its business environment and create fabourable conditions for US projects in Vietnam. He added “Vietnam commits close cooperation with the US to promote reform and improvement of institutional and legal regulations to create more market access opportunity for US businesses.”

Vietnam and the US have enjoyed continuous growth in bilateral trade and investment cooperation in recent years, with two-way trade hitting 60 billion USD last year.
