Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam said that with the Party leadership and the entire political system’s participation, especially people, Vietnam has been able to controll the COVID-19 epidemic and become a bright spot on the world tourism map. The Deputy Prime Minister asked people to strictly abide by safety regulations to be able to live together safely in the epidemic.

Ninh Binh was honored as one of the 50 most attractive destinations in the world by Business Insider in 2018, one of 20 ideal destinations for exploration tourism by Hostelworld in 2020, and the most hospitable destination by traveler Review Awards, booking.com, in 2021.

After the opening ceremony, 500 artists performed art program showing pride in the glorious traditions of the historical land of Hoa Lu and the strong changes of the country and expressing expectations for a bright future.
