The event, organized by the Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA) in collaboration with the Information Security Department, Ministry of Information and Communications, has the theme of “Join hands to protect people and businesses for safe digital transformation”, as Internet users spend 7 hours on average online.
Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung said: “Information security should be jointly ensured by organizations, agencies and people. The Ministry of Information and Communications has directed the Information Security Department and functional agencies to conduct drastic measures, including a collective database for individuals and organizations to retrieve and contribute data for the prevention of cyber frauds in time.”
During the workshop, delegates discussed national cyber security strategy and preventive measures against cyber threats with a vision until 2030. More than 30 booths displayed cyber security products and technology from leading local and international suppliers at the event.
An alliance to raise awareness and information security for internet users was established on this occasion.
