(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK and Northern Ireland held a conference to promote Vietnam’s tourism in Europe on Sunday.

The Ministry introduced Vietnam’s tourism promotion programs in Europe for the period 2015-2017, including regular events introducing tourist sites and products, Vietnam’s participation in international tourism fairs, and combining tourist activities with political, diplomatic, and economic events. Many delegates proposed integrating national tourism promotion among the annual plans of Vietnamese representative agencies in Europe. Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Ho Anh Tuan, said the Ministry will establish a coordination Committee to implement the 2015-2017 tourism promotion plan, contributing to the target of welcoming 9 million foreign tourists by 2020.
