Nguyen Thuy Duong, Vice Head of the Fintech Club of the Banking Association, says currently 42% of credit organizations are working on digital transformation strategies, 28% of them are implementing digital transformation in integration with business strategies, and 11% have approved their own digital transformation strategies. Most of credit organizations have diversified customer services including online money transfer, online saving, bill payment, and e-commerce.

The digitization of the banking system will create breakthroughs in financial services in Vietnam, Said Duong. Participants at the forum agreed on the need to digitize distribution channels and set up digital banks with new customers, digital products, and new brands.
